Hi, I’m Lyn Preston and I’ve been in the image industry now for some 20 years. So much has changed, but most of all the attitude to having a stylist help you! We used to be called image consultants. Often when someone asked what I did, I could feel them shy away, much like hairdressers experience when asked what they do, and you are presently sporting a bad hair day!
So, today we call ourselves Stylists! Despite a change in title, the job is still the same for me, apart from added benefits from the internet. There are some stylists who don’t even meet their clients, let alone help with their wardrobe or shopping. Different strokes for different folks!
